Stephen Moss enters his 6th year with the Bixby Sports Medicine Staff.
He is a nationally Certified Athletic Trainer and a licensed Athletic Trainer
in the state of Oklahoma. He joined the Spartans after completing 3 years
at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. While working for the
Lions, he worked with football, men's basketball, and baseball.
He is a graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree
in Athletic Training and a minor in Health Education and Promotion. He
was born and raised in Broken Arrow and graduated from Broken Arrow
High School in 2004, while being a 3 year letter winner on the baseball
His current responsibilities for the Spartans include: football, wrestling,
track and field, tennis, soccer, cheer and dance, and swimming.
Stephen, along with Cheri' Wahl (co-Athletic Trainer), are responsible for
Bixby High School receiving the National Safe Sports School Award from
the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA). Bixby High School is
one of only a handful of Oklahoma High Schools to have received this
award. It was presented to BHS due to the fulfillment of national sports
medicine safety requirements, as well as fulfilling the recommendations
that the national association also provided.
