Coach Burchett is entering his 13th year as an Offensive Line Coach with the Bixby Spartans. He was an assistant coach for the 2020 and 2021 State Runner-Up girl’s basketball team. He also is an Assistant Coach for the high school track and field team.
Coach Burchett was an All-State lineman for Hall of Fame Coach J.R. Witten at Pryor High School. He started on both the offensive and defensive lines. After high school, Coach Burchett then attended the University of Central Oklahoma where he played football for three seasons and was a two-year starter. He was a student assistant for one season for Coach Tracey Holland, working with the offensive line.
Coach Burchett earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Rogers State University.
He taught three years as a high needs Special Education teacher at Bixby High School. Coach
Burchett will be entering his fifth year as a teacher at the Brassfield Alternative Learning Center at BHS.
Coach Burchett has been married to his wonderful wife Courtney for 6 years. Courtney and Corbin have five children: son Stetson and 4 daughters Bentley and Brynlee (twins), Blakely, and Baker.
