This will be Coach Evans first year with the Spartans. He will be coaching the safeties with the Varsity team and teaching weightlifting at the high school level.
Coach Evans will be coming over from Pryor where he was the Defensive Coordinator. During his time as Defensive Coordinator and secondary coach, Pryor was a two-time District 5A Runner-Up and 5A State Quarterfinalist.
Coach Evans has a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.
Coach Evans has been married for 15 years to his wife Charbrice. Charbrice will also be a Bixby Spartan for the first time as the STEAM teacher at the Middle School. They have 4 amazing children, a 14-year-old daughter Kayci, an 11-year-old daughter Kourtney, an 11-year-old son Kaden, and a 5-year-old son Cooper.
